National Voter Registration Day and Constitution Day

Celebrate these two civic holidays by stopping by one of the Center for Civic Engagements (CCE) voter registration tables! CCE will also have free pocket constitutions for anyone who would like one. CCE's community partners, including the NAACP, League of Women Voters, and the American Association of University Women, will be assisting with voter registration on this day. Get to know the library during a quick 30 minute tour! Library faculty and staff will lead groups around pointing out different collections of materials, study rooms, great places to relax and where to find help. Tours are Sept. 9, 11, 13, 17 and 19 and are offered at noon and 4 p.m. each of those days. Yoga with Amber meets weekly during the fall semester on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. in Shingleton Gym. This class is open to all levels of skill, this gentle yoga class gives a mindful, full-body workout while harmonizing breath and movement. Practice yoga postures while training the mind to enjoy the present experience over focusing on past or future outcomes. Limited yoga mats will be available so participants are encouraged to bring their own along with water. For more information, contact Campus Recreation and Wellness at recsports@su.edu. The Q in Question offers an opportunity to meet others who are interested in conversation about, and support for, those in the LGBTQ+ community. All are invited to gather at the Brandt Student Center, Mosaic Center each Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. in September to connect with other students and staff members. Light refreshments will be served.
