Campus Life

Winchester & Beyond

Winchester, Virginia is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Nestled between the Blue Ridge and the Appalachian Mountains, it is a wonderful location that beckons to be explored. There are many outdoor experiences and vibrant urban activities that mesh together for exciting experiences. It’s all only 75 miles west of Washington, DC.

Housing & Dining

Memories and friendships that will last a lifetime are part of our Campus Living tradition. We are committed to providing a residential experience that enriches learning and growth beyond the classroom.

Residence Life provides a dynamic and diverse community to meet fellow students and develop life-long relationships, while providing easy access to the many resources that the University provides. This means less stress, which allows you to focus on academic goals. The residency requirement requires all students to live on campus for their first two years at Shenandoah.

The Office of Spiritual Life is dedicated to unleashing your spirit and potential by giving you a variety of settings in which to explore your faith, questions, gifts, hopes and dreams as you prepare to be a leader in your faith in communities around the world. Visit us in our office located on main campus in the lower level of Goodson Chapel.

Wellness at Shenandoah is about more than physical health. While we maintain an outpatient health center that provides primary and acute care, health education and prevention services, that’s not all we do to support your overall wellness. Our counseling center offers individual and group sessions, and campus safety keeps our community secure.
