My favorite spot at SU: I love the SU sign and the tradition of taking a photo when you start and when you graduate.  

 

Why SU?: I appreciate the focus on preparing students for their careers and the commitment to global citizenship. There is a family feeling at SU that allows students, staff and faculty to learn from each other. 

 

My advice: Try not to get overwhelmed!  It can be difficult to get started on your college search, so try to find one thing at one college that catches your attention and begin there. For my daughter, it was a campus that had a Chick-fil-a.  She researched the college and thought it looked great. We visited campus and it helped her realize that she was looking for a smaller school a bit closer to home.  She just needed somewhere to start!  Virtual tours are a great tool, but nothing beats an on campus visit.  Come see us and we will show you your home away from home.

 

Fun fact: As a Western NYer, I LOVE the Buffalo Bills and will represent them anywhere – even the Grand Canyon!  I have two ginger cats – Max and Donavan.
