Important Dates from the Office of Financial Aid
In commemoration of the Sept. 17, 1787, signing of the Constitution – Constitution Day
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available to submit for the upcoming academic year. It is strongly recommended that every student complete the FAFSA.
By now, our office has begun to award new students (except Conservatory, pending auditions) for the upcoming Fall term. Have you completed the FAFSA, VTAG application, and/or Virginia Conference United Methodist Scholarship applications yet?
By now all Conservatory auditions have concluded. Conservatory aid packaged will be sent to new students.
Virginia Conference United Methodist Scholarship application is due to our office.
If your financial aid does not cover all costs, you should contact Hornet Central to inquire about the Shenandoah University Payment Plan Application Agreement. This program allows you to make four equal payments each semester, rather than paying your tuition in full at the beginning of each semester.
If you have received all of your financial aid paperwork (award letter, verification forms, loan promissory notes, etc.), have you returned them signed and completed to our office? Please do not delay your financial aid by neglecting to fill out the forms we send you. We never send junk mail!
Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant (VTAG) application due.
Fall tuition is due. Any remaining balances, after financial aid is taken into account, needs to be paid by this date.
Spring tuition is due. Any remaining balances, after financial aid is taken into account, needs to be paid by this date.
At Shenandoah, we understand that Financial Aid is an important, and sometimes confusing, factor in your college search process. We are here to help you understand your Shenandoah University financial aid package and financial options. Contact the Office of Financial Aid.
