Dual Degree Physical Therapy/Athletic Training

Applications for Shenandoah University’s Dual Degree DPT/MS AT must be submitted through
the Physical Therapy Centralized Application System and Shenandoah’s dual degree supplemental application.

Application Steps

If applying to the MSAT/DPT dual degree program, you must complete the following:

  1. PTCAS application by October 1, 2024
  2. Shenandoah’s Dual Degree Supplemental Application
    • On the “Application Information” tab select: “I am an applicant in PTCAS, also applying to the MSAT program”
    • Select program of study: “Athletic Training – MS”
    • Select start term: “Summer 2025” 
    • Complete the rest of the application form and submit. Please make sure you also submit a PTCAS application – both this supplemental application and a PTCAS application are required to be considered for the dual degree program.
  • The Shenandoah Graduate Dual Degree Supplemental Application requires the following items in addition to PTCAS requirements:
    • Essay
    • List of Athletic Training experiences
    • One Athletic Training recommendation letter
