Interfaith Opportunities & Religious Diversity
Part of the Office of Spiritual Life’s vision statement is to foster a culture of inclusion where students will celebrate diversity and engage a multicultural worldview recognizing, respecting, and appreciating difference of identities, ideologies, philosophies, religions and experiences. One of the ways we seek to do this is through interfaith programming where all Shenandoah community can engage in dialogue and service with peers of diverse religious and faith traditions. Programming for the 2021-2022 season include:
- Rise Against Hunger Meal Packaging events
- Local community service opportunities
- Participation in the Winchester Area Temporary Thermal Shelter
- Fireside chats
- Iftar (Ramadan celebrations)
- Seder passover celebration
- Mediation sessions
- And more!
