Alumni awards were announced at the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy’s 2020 Alumni Roundtable & Awards Virtual Event held on Friday, Oct. 16. Over 100 alumni, faculty/staff, students and guests used Zoom to support this year’s alumni award winners and to listen to the alumni roundtable panelists.

2020 Graduate of the Last Decade Award recipient
Marilee Clemons ’16, PharmD
University of Toledo
General Internal Medicine
Lead Clinical Pharmacist
Dr. Clemons was nominated and selected for this award based on her work developing innovative collaborative practice models which embedded clinical pharmacists within the University of Toledo health system. She is passionate about evolving the pharmacy profession and is very involved in the Ohio Pharmacist Association, particularly within the New Practitioner Experience Advisory Committee.

Dr. Cormier was nominated and selected for this award due to her record of service to the Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy, as well as to the profession at large. She created a leadership development program through CVS Health in which many Shenandoah University student pharmacists participate. She is also an advocate for the future of the profession through her work with the Maryland Pharmacists Association, where she currently serves as president.
