slider-at-facultyOur program enjoys a field house with a state-of-the-art equipped 1700 square-foot athletic training room. There is an additional athletic training room located in Shingleton Hall. All classrooms are fully equipped with computer and LCD-monitors for video, slide and multi-media presentations. Cadaver laboratory experiences will be available during summer instruction at the Cork Street facility.

Field experiences on-campus involve assignments to specific Shenandoah University sports teams to provide sports medicine care under the direct supervision of an NATA certified athletic trainer. Weekly interactions with team physicians are an integral part of the learning process.

Shenandoah University is a proud participant in the NCAA Division III USA South Athletic Conference. Shenandoah has teams in 20 different sports, including football, offering a variety of clinical experiences to the students in the athletic training program. Sports medicine care is also delivered to the Dance and Performing Arts departments.

We also offer clinics outside of Shenandoah University.
