Professional Highlights:
Professor Hodgson is an occupational therapist and professor at Shenandoah University. She has a clinical background in acute care and hospital-based pediatrics, including work in the neonatal, cardiac, and pediatric intensive care units. She specializes in early child development and has additional training in early detection of cerebral palsy and infant feeding approaches. She also has extensive experience in pediatric traumatic injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and burns.
Personal Highlights:
Professor Hodgson is thrilled to be joining the MSOT Weekend Program faculty. She has collaborated with students in the clinical setting during fieldwork experiences previously, and is excited to support incoming OTs in a different capacity. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, being outdoors, and spending time with family.
