Romine Living Center was built in 1986 as part of a hotel complex and was renovated in fall 2015. The room renovations included refinished walls, new wood vinyl flooring, new window treatments, new bathtub surrounds and custom sink vanities. Romine consists of a combination of single and double occupancy rooms. Each room has a private bathroom. Sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students live in Romine. The campus shuttle service makes stops at Romine.
Quick Tips About Romine Living Center:
- The rooms are approximately 18 feet long by 12 feet wide by 8 feet high
- Each room has a private bathroom for the resident(s)
- A shuttle runs between Romine and Main campus
- Two Resident Assistants (RAs) who live in this building
Romine gives me the freedom to live at SU, but still be away from main campus. The accommodations are nice, and I enjoy being around my more mature peers.”

I like living in Romine because it has super open rooms and the walls are pretty much soundproof! It’s really nice to be able to have privacy and a feeling of safety with the doors that automatically lock as well!”
