Kalis ’15, ’16 Performs at Walt Disney World Resort and More in Orlando

Michele Kalis (Boyd) ’15, ’16 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance, Master of Science in Performing Arts Leadership & Management) is currently making magic at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. She is a full-time cast member in “The Festival of the Lion King,” appearing as a variety of animals throughout the show. Boyd also performs in other shows and parades throughout Central Florida, including Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade, SeaWorld Orlando’s Electric Ocean and Universal Orlando’s Superstar Parade. In addition to her theme park performances, Boyd dances for Yow Dance, an Orlando-based modern dance company. She married her Shenandoah sweetheart, Andrew Kalis ’14 (Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology) in 2018.
