As you enroll at Shenandoah, you may have to:

If you are the recipient of any scholarships or grants from outside of Shenandoah University, please print and submit the Declaration of Outside Grants and Scholarships form to Hornet Central.
If you are the recipient of any private loans from outside of Shenandoah University, please print and submit the Private Education Loan Applicant Self-Certification Form form to Hornet Central.
Paying your enrollment deposit holds your seat in the incoming class of the program of your choice. This is not an extra expense, your deposit is a credit on your first semester bill.
Deposit amounts vary by program:
- Pharmacy Deposit: $1,000
- AT, OT, PA, and PT Deposit: $500
Submit your deposit now:
- Online on WebAdvisor
- Your username and password are on your acceptance letter
- Go to “View Account & Make Payments”
- Click “Make A Payment”
- Check mark the box that says “select” under the heading for your start term
- Choose your payment method
- Proceed to payment
- Mail a $300 check to 1460 University Drive, Winchester, VA 22601
- Make payable to “Shenandoah University”

View Your Account Statement And Make A Payment
- Login to Hornet Hub
- Your username and password are sent to you via email from the Admissions Office
- Select “Student Finance” from top of page
- Select “Make a Payment” from the drop down menu. You may not make a payment unless there is a current balance due.
Students may grant Parent/Person Proxy access to a person of their choice.
To grant Parent/Person Proxy access, the student must:
- Login to Hornet Hub
- Click on student’s name at the top right of page
- Choose View/Add Proxy Access from drop down menu
- Please note that you must enter the parent/person’s current/existing email address so the parent/person can receive his/her username and password.
Once a parent has been granted Parent/Proxy access, parent must:
- Login as a Parent/Person Proxy using your username and password
- Select the student name, not the parent/person name, from list on the Person Proxy page
- Select Student Finance
- Select Make a Payment
If you will be mailing a check, be sure to provide the student’s full name and Shenandoah ID number with the check. Please mail payment to the following address:

Shenandoah University Payment Plan
Shenandoah offers families the option to divide their tuition bill into 4 monthly payments per term.
Fall payments are due August 4 through November 4. Spring payments are due December 15 through March 15.
Apply for a Shenandoah University Payment Plan. The deadline to submit an application is July 1.

Register online via WebAdvisor. Here is a video tutorial of how to register for classes.
Students who wish to change classes in their schedule are able to do so during Welcome Week and the add/drop period by submitting the Add/Drop Form. If after you have been enrolled in classes you decide to change your major, you must submit a Curriculum Change Form to Hornet Central.
Students that are unable to register online must submit a Registration Form to Hornet Central. Please complete this form, obtain your advisor’s signature, and return it to Hornet Central.
Students registering for Independent Study, Directed Study, and Research need to submit this form as an addendum to your regular registration. Complete this form with your instructor, obtain the necessary signatures, and return the form to Hornet Central.
- Login to WebAdvisor. (Your username and password are on your acceptance letter).
- Click “Purchase Books” under the Academic Profile tab, and select your term.
- You will see your course schedule (Course schedules are not released until mid-June through mid-July).
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button for the Bookstore.
- You can now view all of the books required for each of your courses and add them to your cart.
Academic success is related to your overall health, and the Wilkins Wellness Center is your one-stop hub for health and counseling services. You need to submit your immunization and physical forms as well as health insurance documents to the Wilkins Wellness Center.
Please review the Health and Insurance Requirement section to be sure you are completing the appropriate form and obtain the necessary documentation of immunizations.

An annual fee is charged to residential and commuting students who drive and/or parks a vehicle on university property. There is no fee for additional permits due to loss, theft, or additional vehicles. Annual permit fees can be paid to Hornet Central or online on HornetHub. Your username and password are on your acceptance letter.
Upon proper registration and in possession of RED decal permits displayed as instructed, all students are permitted to park motor vehicles in designated RED parking areas on campus.
Complete the Parking Permit Authorization Form to Authorize Shenandoah University to charge the parking fee to your student account and return it to Hornet Central.

You can acquire your SU Student Identification Card from the Auxiliary Services Office on the ground floor of the Wilkins Administration Building
Lost cards should be reported immediately to the Auxiliary Services Office. You will be charged a replacement fee, which should be paid in Hornet Central. Complete Student Account Authorization Form to authorize Shenandoah University to charge your account for your ID Replacement Fee. Please bring your receipt to the Auxiliary Services Office on the ground floor of the Wilkins Administration Building where you will be issued a new card. For safety reasons, your old card will be deactivated.
Students requesting to have their enrollment at Shenandoah University verified need to complete the Enrollment Verification Request Form and return it to the Registrar’s Office.
Shenandoah University verifies students enrollment based on semester. If you need verification for multiple semesters a separate letter will be created for each semester. On-Campus housing is available for graduate students who desire it on a first-come, first-served bases.
Graduate Students living on campus can have a minimum of 10 meals per week
Each meal period (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Late Night at Brandt Student Center Food Court) is considered a “meal.” When you enter a dining establishment, your card is swiped and one meal is taken off your card. Meals do not transfer from week to week. One meal swipe may be used per hour.
Meal plans cannot be reduced after June 30 for fall semester, and November 1st for spring semester.

Meal Plans for Commuting Students
If you are interested in purchasing a commuter meal plan, please print the Commuter Meal Plan Form, circle your choice, and select a payment method.
If you have any questions, contact Auxiliary Services at (540) 665-5571 or (540) 665-4925. To purchase a plan call, Hornet Central at (540) 665-4514 or complete the Commuter Meal Plan Form and mail or fax it to Hornet Central.
Commuter meal plans must be paid in full at the beginning of each term.
Commuter meal plans are not included in the Shenandoah University Payment Plan.

Hornet Dollars are monies added to an identification card to be used in the campus bookstore to purchase books, supplies, and SU gear. Hornet Dollars may also be used for food and non-alcoholic beverages in select locations both on and off campus.
Submit the Hornet Dollars form to increase your Hornet Dollars which can be used at a number of locations including the SU Bookstore.
