Don’t Fear the Smear The [Not Just] Women’s Center seeks to provide information on women’s health, especially essential screenings that prevent serious illnesses. Cervical screening saves around 5,000 lives a year, yet screening visits is currently at its lowest for a decade. The [Not Just] Women’s Center encourages students to attend routine screening, to take action to raise awareness of the importance of cervical screening, and address barriers to screenings to help eradicate cervical cancer. There will be a table set up in the BSC on March 7th, from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. and March 8th from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. The NJWC will have bagels and different spreads at the table.
