Join the Office of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity and the Student Government Association on March 25 from 6-7 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Room 118 for “The Danger of A Single Story.” This interactive workshop aims to help participants recognize, identify, and respond to microaggressions. It will include a presentation by Mannie Brown, associate director for gender and sexuality resources, in collaboration with SGA’s director of IDE. The workshop will help you explore the concepts of a single story and promote your own conscious competence on matters of microaggressions and implicit bias. Register using this Google Form.
