My favorite spots around SU: Either the library or sitting in one of the lawn chairs by Abram’s Creek on a nice day. I spent many days and nights in the library by myself and with friends and created some of my best memories in there.
What makes SU special to me: All of the close relationships I have formed with professors, fellow students, and other faculty members while as a student. SU is a smaller close-knit community that always made me feel safe and
at home.
My advice: Remember, there is no such thing as a stupid question – so ask away. Explore campus as much as you can to get a good feel and see if you could imagine yourself spending time there. I toured a few colleges before transferring, and SU by far had the best feeling. Also, our resources are there to help students out in every way, shape and form – so utilize them. While at SU, I used so many resources such as the Career Center and Tutoring, and they both made a huge difference in my life.
Fun fact: I have my second-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
