National Flute Workshop Celebrates Successful Week and Educates Flutists Across All Skill Levels

Professor of Flute Jonathan Snowden, A.G.S.M., hosted the 2018 National Flute Workshop with Rebecca Carey, professor of flute at Levine School of Music. The event was held from July 16, through July 20, at the Old Presbyterian Meeting House in Alexandria, Virginia. Participants from around the region and beyond, including South Carolina and Pennsylvania, participated in private lessons, masterclasses, technique classes, daily coached chamber ensembles, theory and ear training classes, recitals, a student solo night and multiple concerts.
