Conservatory Choir Hosts Discussion with Fraser

Associate Professor of Voice, Conservatory Choir Director and Choral Artist Matt Oltman, D.M.A., and the Conservatory Choir invited Donald Fraser to join their online Zoom meeting on Thursday, March 26. Fraser created the choral arrangement that was to be used for Shenandoah Conservatory’s “The Body, The Voice, The Instrument” collaborative performance at the end of March. The production would have featured the Conservatory Choir, Symphony Orchestra and Dance Ensemble.

We were looking forward to welcoming Donald Fraser to Shenandoah University for our Choir/Orchestra/Dance collaboration “The Body, The Voice, The Instrument.” Obviously, that wasn’t possible. But, we were so happy that he was able to join us virtually! We WILL perform his choral arrangement of Elgar’s luscious ‘Sea Pictures’—we’re just not sure when..”

We were very lucky and honored to have Donald Fraser visit us in our Zoom call today! While we wish it could’ve been in person, it was still great to talk and get advice. Thank you again!”
