The SU Family, Students, Faculty, and Staff, are excited and proud to have made it through the Fall Semester. We knew there would be challenges and there were. We knew it would require resolve, determination, and flexibility … and it did.
Now as we all plan for the Spring Semester there is an unmistakable sense of … We DID this, we will DO it again … just better. Health experts are recognizing the classroom as one of the safest environments and we have proven we can all work and live together safely. A Holiday break will be enjoyed by all, but the promise that Spring always brings is exciting.
If you’ve registered for the Spring 2021 semester, your spring statement is ready for you to view. You can view this by logging into Hornet Hub. Tuition for the Spring term, normally due on December 15th, has been extended to December 18th.
Please take a moment to review the charges on your account to make sure they are accurate. Students living in campus housing should see a room and board fee separate from tuition and other related fees; if it appears inaccurate please contact Residence Life at reslife@su.edu. Your billing statement will not be accurate until the room and board is charged to your account.
Undergraduate students must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to be considered full-time, to see full-time charges on the account and be eligible for scholarships and grants. Your online statement reflects your actual enrollment at the time it is viewed/printed. Keep in mind that GEL courses do not count towards full-time enrollment.
If you are having difficulty making the spring payment by the December 18th deadline, please reach out to finaid@su.edu to explore other options of assistance. There are some likely tax advantages to making the Spring 2021 balance due payment in full in December, but we are glad to explore and are able to offer some extensions should your circumstances require it.
If you have not registered for the spring semester, online registration is open through December 18th. After this date, an approved registration form will need to be submitted to Hornet Central with payment required at the time of registration.
Please be sure to check your account prior to paying on December 18th as schedule changes, receipt of scholarship payments, etc. may impact the balance due.
A nonrefundable 1.5% surcharge is imposed on the transaction amount of all credit card payments. A surcharge is not imposed on the usage of Debit cards. If you use your Debit card to make payment, please first check your daily spending limit set by your bank. Electronic Checks can be made online, a $3.00 fee will be applied to electronic check
If you have any questions or concerns with your billing statement, please contact Hornet Central at HornetCentral@su.edu.
If you’d like to discuss a payment plan, please contact Student Accounts at studaccts@su.edu.
If you have any questions about your financial aid, please contact that office at finaid@su.edu. Please note that students who apply and are approved for alternative loans, such as Sallie Mae or Discover, will not see the loan payment on their accounts until the loan disbursement/payment is received. These loan disbursements/payments are scheduled to be received on or about the tuition due date.
