SU Global Welcomes New GMBA Cohort in Shanghai, Feb. 27

Shenandoah University Offers A Flexible, Executive-Style MBA With A Global Perspective

Thirty-five students, all Mandarin-speaking global professionals in upper- and middle-management positions across diverse industries in China, begin classes on Saturday, Feb. 27, as participants in Shenandoah University’s 14-month bilingual SU Global MBA. Classes will be delivered live (either in-person or via broadcasting) in Shanghai, including at the Xuhui District campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, one of the top five universities in China.

SU Global MBA students learn in a supportive, executive-style learning environment.

SU Global MBA is an executive-style MBA designed for students on track to assume key leadership roles, as well as those already in advanced roles in domestic or multinational organizations who are looking to expand their skill sets to better advance in managerial careers.

Courses are conducted either in Mandarin or in English simultaneously translated into Mandarin. The coursework consists of a core business curriculum in key areas taught by distinguished full-time faculty from both AACSB-accredited Shenandoah University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

According to Shenandoah University’s Associate Dean of Global Initiatives Yvonne Chen, Ph.D., the SU Global MBA is a borderless learning hub for a transformative management education, where barriers in language and geographical location can be minimized and perspectives expanded. In addition to the program content, students participate in peer learning and enrichment events provided throughout the program. They may also obtain an executive training certificate and participate in executive learning programs sponsored by Shanghai partners.

Our students are motivated and adaptable professionals who value an education that promotes engagement, innovation, and social and corporate responsibility. They work in highly demanding jobs, and yet they return to the classroom to acquire new knowledge and benefit from learning alongside other industry leaders. For them, accessibility and versatility in teaching modalities and opportunities for networking are a premium.”

Yvonne Chen, Ph.D. | Associate Dean of Global Initiatives | Shenandoah University

I found the most significant strengths of the program to be the premium instruction from highly qualified faculty from both the U.S. and China, as well as the engaging interactions with experienced business professionals from diverse backgrounds and industries—all delivered within a supportive and aesthetic learning environment.”

Alice Wang ’20 | Executive Director | Pramerica FOSUN
