Redding Completes Research on Shenandoah’s Piano Tuning History

Lead Piano Technician Kate Redding, M.A., recently completed her research with Shenandoah University in a retrospective featuring piano tuning students and teachers from Shenandoah School of Music and Shenandoah Conservatory from 1904 to 1992. Her project takes the form of Shenandoah’s yearbook, Zynodoa, and can be viewed on Issuu.

“I’m pleased to have a handful of hardbound copies to share with alumni, many of whom contributed to the work with personal stories and photographs,” said Redding.

A copy of the yearbook has been submitted to the Shenandoah University Archives and will be featured at the Smith Library in the months ahead.
