Howard-Carter ’01 Featured in CrossFit Article

Sarah Howard-Carter ’01 (Bachelor of Music in Performance) was featured in a video and article produced by CrossFit. Known as “The Lifting Flutist,” Technical Sergeant Howard-Carter is a flutist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, California. She graduated from Shenandoah Conservatory in 2001 with a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Flute) and went on to obtain a Master of Music in Flute Performance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 2004. She served as the honored guest and speaker for the 2020/21 Conservatory Convocation.
