Davin Performs at DACOR Bacon House

Director of Guitar Studio and Associate Professor of Guitar Colin Davin, M.M., presented a solo performance for the DACOR Bacon House, an historic home near the White House, for the organization’s Holiday Musicale event on Dec. 3. DACOR (Diplomatic and Consular Officers, Retired) is an organization of foreign service professionals dedicated to international impact, and this was his second time performing for them. Davin performed a selection of globally inspired classical and holiday music, as well as Jasmine Barnes’ “The Ambassador,” a piece that he premiered earlier this year, dedicated to the memory of former ambassador Johnny Young.
