Curenton Earns D.M.A. in Performance from Stony Brook University

Assistant Professor of Flute Julietta Curenton, D.M.A., graduated from Stony Brook University (SUNY) in New York with a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance in May.

“I am so happy to have earned my D.M.A. from such a reputable university like Stony Brook,” said Curenton. “I enjoyed the process of going back to school, gaining more skills, working alongside my peers and building new friendships and receiving mentorship from phenomenal teachers. I feel fortunate for this opportunity to be stretched and to grow during this point of my career.”
