Your Story, Our History: Shenandoah’s Oral History Project

Oral history is a powerful tool that allows us to connect with the past. As we approach our 150th anniversary in 2025, Shenandoah University is working on an exciting new project to preserve our history: The Oral History Project! In partnership with Project Concepts, Inc. (PCI), we invite alumni to share their unique Shenandoah stories and reflect on how the university has impacted their lives.

How to Participate

What kind of story should you tell? It’s up to you! Some ideas include:

  • Lifelong connections made on campus
  • Love stories
  • Faculty or staff members who left a lasting impact
  • Student organization involvement that helped shape you
  • A career-defining moment

If you’re interested in sharing your Shenandoah story, please call the dedicated Shenandoah University Oral History line at 1-888-736-3041.

If you are living internationally or are unable to call the update line, please email customerservice@publishingconcepts.com. PCI will send you a personalized link for you to share your written story and photo.

Your participation will help us create a lasting legacy for generations of students to come.

Let’s make history together!
