Community Partner Volunteer Fair

The Center for Civic Engagement will host the annual Community Partner Volunteer Fair on Friday, Oct. 3, from 1–3 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room. Students, faculty and staff are invited to connect with local nonprofits such as food pantries, homeless shelters and youth mentorship programs to learn about volunteer and service-learning opportunities. This event counts for Beyond the Classroom credit. Organizations scheduled to attend include: Adult Care Center, Blue Ridge Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Bright Futures, CCAP, Church World Service, City of Winchester, Friends of Old Town, Froggy’s Closet, Girls on the Run, Literacy Volunteers, Relay for Life, Special Love, Toys for Tots, Winchester Co-op Market, Winchester Fire and Rescue, Winchester Rescue Mission and Winchester SPCA.
