Family weekend food drive- Buzzy’s Food Pantry

During Family Weekend, Shenandoah University invites all to support Buzzy’s Food Pantry, which has provided meals to students and faculty for the past year and a half in partnership with the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. Families are encouraged to donate nonperishable, single-serving items such as granola bars, canned soups, pasta, rice, juice boxes and snacks. Donations will be collected at the Brandt Student Center, Room 119, on Friday, Sept. 26, from 3-5 p.m. A labeled bin will also be available during the Family Weekend reception and open house on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 10 a.m.-noon. Those unable to bring items to campus may support the pantry through the Amazon Wishlist or by making a monetary donation online. For more information, contact Lucy Greenstein at and94@su.edu.
