Overnight Canoeing & Camping

Filled with history and folklore, the Great Dismal Swamp was once home to Native Americans and African Americans fleeing slavery. Canoe the canal to a remote island to camp overnight. In the morning, paddle to Lake Drummond. Bring money for lunch on the way back to campus on Sunday. The group will leave campus at 8 a.m. on Saturday and return by 5 p.m. on Sunday.
