Transgender Day of Remembrance

Join The Lavender Lounge and the Winchester R.I.S.E. Center for Transgender Day of Remembrance on Thursday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m. in Henkel Hall, Hester Auditorium. This event honors the lives lost to anti-transgender violence over the past year and continues a tradition that began in 1999 to raise awareness about the ongoing need for visibility, safety, and equality for transgender individuals. At this event, participants will find a safe space for reflection, solidarity, and community support as they celebrate the resilience of transgender people.
