Volunteer at the Girls on the Run 5K

Support the local Girls on the Run chapter by volunteering at the Fall 5K on Sunday, Nov. 16, at Admiral Byrd Middle School, 134 Rosa Lane, Winchester. The race begins at 1:30 p.m., with volunteer opportunities starting at 10:30 a.m. This celebratory end-of-season event gives participants of all abilities a chance to experience the joy and confidence that come with crossing the finish line. Volunteers are needed for roles such as running buddies, water station assistants, and finish line support. Register online.
