Swab it Off for Sataloff, sponsored by Shenandoah Students of National Association of Teachers of Singing (SNATS), is from noon to 6 p.m. in the BSC Ferrari Room. Throughout the day, SNATS members will perform in the Brandt Student Center rotunda. A simple cotton swab rubbed inside your cheek is all it takes to register as a life-saving bone marrow donor. This bone marrow registration drive is for Jonathan Sataloff, a 22-year-old chemistry major at Amherst College who has a rare blood cancer. “We really want to emphasize to Shenandoah students that Jonathan is a normal college student just like us,” said SNATS member John “Hunter” Womble. This “Be the Match” video explains the organization: http://youtu.be/rGnpFLiD-vg
