Virginia Forum
March 19-21, 2026
Established in 2006, the Virginia Forum welcomes those interested in history, economics, politics, geography, law, literature, education, environmental studies, archaeology, and anthropology related to Virginia. The signature event of the Virginia Forum is an annual meeting and conference held once a year in the spring at a different host institution throughout Virginia and West Virginia.

The Virginia Forum is pleased to offer a variety of registration options.
- Premium Registration $165: includes entire conference, refreshments, boxed lunches on Friday and Saturday, and Friday evening banquet. Registering at the premium level comes with a notation on your conference badge and helps offset an expansion of the Forum’s lower registration fees for graduate students, part-time instructors/professors, and K-12 teachers. If you are able to do so, the Forum would appreciate your additional support at this registration level. Please make certain to check your lunch choices for Friday and Saturday when you register.
- Standard Registration $130: This is the standard registration level for all participants except for graduate students, part-time instructors/professors, and K-12 teachers. Includes entire conference, refreshments, boxed lunches on Friday and Saturday, and Friday evening banquet. Please make certain to check your lunch choices for Friday and Saturday when you register.
- Special Registration $55: This subsidized registration level is for graduate students, part-time instructors/professors, and K-12 teachers (though, if you can afford to do so, we welcome you to choose the standard or premium fee). Please only use if you fall into one of those categories. Includes entire conference, refreshments, boxed lunches on Friday and Saturday, and Friday evening reception. Please make certain to check your lunch choices for Friday and Saturday when you register.
- Single-Day Registration, FRIDAY ONLY, $90:Includes conference on Friday, March 20, refreshments, boxed lunch on Friday, and Friday evening banquet. Please make certain to check your lunch choice for Friday when you register.
- Single-Day Registration, SATURDAY ONLY, $75: Includes conference on Saturday, March 21, refreshments and boxed lunch on Saturday. Please make certain to check your lunch choice for Saturday when you register.
- Online Registration $30: This registration level is for access, via Zoom, to select sessions, as determined by the Virginia Forum’s Program Committee on Friday, March 20, and Saturday, March 21.
