Alvini-Moore ’25 Establishes First Drop-in Musicianship Tutoring Lab for Students

Hybrid Embedded Musicianship Tutor Sophia Alvini-Moore ’25 (Bachelor of Music in Performance – Cello), under the supervision of Adjunct Associate Professor of Musicianship Charlene Romano ’91, M.M., has established the first drop-in Musicianship Tutoring Lab for students in Romano’s Applied Musicianship-Empowering the Musician courses. Students in this course sequence may drop in during lab hours to practice keyboard skills, complete assignments with a tutor nearby for assistance or to seek specific assistance from a tutor, at no cost to the student.

Alvini-Moore has a love for the art of teaching music.

The Hybrid Embedded Theory Tutor Program is coordinated by Associate Professor of Music Theory Rachel Short, Ph.D.
