Emmerling ’11 Performs in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre

Actor Jake Emmerling ’11 (Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre) recently finished a run of performances as Peter in the legendary rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar” with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre. The production ran from Thursday, April 3, through Sunday, April 13, at the Byham Theater in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Emmerling also played piano in the show.

“It was an awesome production where most of the cast played instruments, so it felt like an actual rock concert,” said Emmerling.
