Mosaic Center For Diversity
We invite you to join us in our commitment to empower Shenandoah students, faculty, and staff to be culturally conscious and informed members of our community.
We are committed to creating a space where every student feels a strong sense of belonging.
Diversity is not just something we acknowledge; it’s something we celebrate. Our work is rooted in the understanding that our differences make us stronger, and we aim to reflect that in everything we do — whether through programs, conversations, events, or leadership opportunities.
Together, we strive for inclusive excellence by educating ourselves and others, promoting underrepresented voices, and building a more connected community here at Shenandoah and beyond.
What We Do at the Mosaic Center
Educate
We create learning opportunities for the campus community to explore culture, identity, diversity, and social justice, helping students build the knowledge and empathy needed to shape an inclusive world.
Celebrate
We uplift the voices, stories, and traditions of Shenandoah’s diverse student body, recognizing the power of our differences and shared experiences.
Advocate
We stand with and for students to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and treated fairly by every member of the Shenandoah community.
Develop Leaders
We support students in their personal and professional growth, helping them become leaders who drive positive change on campus and in the wider world.
