The Shenandoah University School of Business will launch its inaugural Lunch and Learn lecture series, “AI in Business: A Game Changer,” focusing on the practical and evolving subject of how AI will accelerate business processes, on Monday, Oct. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Halpin-Harrison Hall, Stimpson Auditorium. Shenandoah University Associate Vice President and Chief Information Officer Devon Taylor, Ed.D., an authority in educational technology, leadership, and the emerging field of AI, will deliver an engaging lecture. Dr. Taylor will demystify AI, explore its fundamental concepts, forecast its impact on daily life, and demonstrate how businesses and nonprofits can leverage it to enhance efficiency, elevate decision-making, and foster innovation. “I believe AI has the potential to transform how we work and solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges,” said Dr. Taylor. “Through this presentation, I aim to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to harness the power of AI for the betterment of society.” The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
