AI: Inside and Outside Academia

March 18 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Introducing the Center for Story @ Shenandoah Speaker Series!

Director of Center for Story @ Shenandoah Sean Murphy will be joined by Dr. Shawn Dubravac to discuss all-things AI, specifically its evolving implications within academia, but also how it’s impacting everything from the business sector and employment to the arts industries. Murphy and Dubravac previously worked together at the Consumer Technology Association and continue to regularly compare notes about the myriad ways technology steers innovation, and also acts a force of disruption–for better or worse. AI is a growing topic of interest and concern, and there’s no one better positioned than Dr. Dubravac to assess where we are—and what’s possibly coming in the near future. Audience Q&A will be encouraged throughout this informal but action-packed discussion.
