Buzzy’s Race for Research

The Shenandoah University Division of Physical Therapy invites the campus community to Buzzy’s Race for Research on Sunday, April 19, at 8:30 a.m. at the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (901 Amherst St, Winchester, VA 22601). This event features a 5K race, a Kid’s Mile, and an Adaptive Run/Walk/Roll to support the VCU-Marquette Challenge, a student-led initiative benefiting the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. As part of a national effort involving more than 300 schools that have collectively raised $4.5 million, the university’s physical therapy program contributes directly to advancing the field with these proceeds. Registration is $25 for the 5K and $15 for the Kid’s Mile, while the half-mile adaptive event is free.
