Celebrating Lunar New Year, Year of the Rabbit
January 21 - February 5
Celebrating Lunar New Year, Year of the Rabbit is celebrated January 22nd through February 5th. Shenandoah University joins many of our Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) students, faculty, and staff in celebrating the Lunar New Year, the Year of Rabbit! It is one of the most important festivals for the AAPI community! To help our AAPI family members feel at home, Shenandoah University Asian Student Association (ASA) is partnering with SU Dining Hall Services to invite everyone in our community to Lunar New Year Celebrations. The Dining Hall will serve a special lunch menu featuring typical Chinese food eaten during the Lunar New Year festivity from 11:00 am -1:30 pm on Jan 23rd. If you and your culture celebrate the Lunar New Year, please feel free to bring your cultural objects to the dining hall and share your traditions with everyone!
