Diagnosed by Iyona Garner Blake ’00

September 16, 2023 @ 4:30 pm

Diagnosed by Iyona Garner Blake ’00 Shenandoah University is excited to present the play entitled, “Diagnosed” on campus, which is written and directed by our very own alum, Iyona Garner Blake ’00. We as a university want to bring awareness of the importance of mental health to our campus community and Iyona’s play is the perfect way to do that as it is centered around this topic. “Diagnosed” will be coming to Shenandoah on Saturday, Sept. 16 in the Shingleton Hall Black Box Theater. There will be two showings of the play, 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to everyone (faculty/staff, students, alumni, the Winchester community, etc.). However, we do ask that you pre-register as there will be limited seating for each showing. You can find the synopsis for the play here. The event will be in collaboration with Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, Academic Affairs (Conservatory), the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations. Questions? Contact the Office of Alumni & Constituent Relations at alums@su.edu.
