Donut Dialogue: Why are Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day on the same day?: On Tuesday, November 30th, 2022, from 5 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. on the ground floor of Cooley Hall room 106, the Center for the Civic Engagement will be hosting a Donut Dialogue event honoring Native American Heritage Month. The dialogue focuses on reflecting on why Columbus Day and Indigenous People’s Day are on the same day. This conversation is an opportunity to listen to each other’s perspectives between the issues that Native Americans are facing now and understand each other. We will also have a special treat and provide some delicious Dunkin Donuts to go along with the dialogue!
