Greener Living Day at the Youth Development Center

Kickstart a local movement for environmental stewardship on Saturday, April 25, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Youth Development Center, 302 S. Loudoun St., to launch a new community garden and promote sustainable living through hands-on education. This initiative, developed by a Shenandoah University student, unites local partners and residents to foster eco-conscious habits and support a youth-led gardening project in Old Town Winchester. Attendees can engage in collaborative activities designed to strengthen the community’s commitment to a greener future while gaining practical skills for everyday sustainability.
