Hidden Figures Film Screening

Hidden Figures Film Screening Celebrate Women’s History Month by attending Shenandoah University Gender & Women’s Studies and Film Studies for the 2nd Annual Women’s History Month Film Series this March. These films, which highlight the achievements of women, will be hosted on Tuesdays in March at 7 p.m. at Stimpson Auditorium in Halpin-Harrison Hall. Hidden Figures, directed by Theodore Melfi, is a story following a team of African-American female mathematicians who served a vital role at NASA during the early years of the United States space program. This film screening is free and open to the public. Co-sponsors of this event include the Department of Mathematics, Department of Language & Cultures, Department of Mass Communication, and Intercultural Programs.
