Hispanic Heritage Month – Fire, Moonlight & Majesty

Join us for an unforgettable evening of musical brilliance as the Symphony Orchestra presents a vibrant and evocative program. The concert opens with Rimsky-Korsakov’s dazzling Capriccio Espagnol, op. 34, alive with color and Spanish flair. Next, be enchanted by the achingly beautiful “Song to the Moon” from Dvořák’s Rusalka, featuring the radiant voice of soloist Cadence Weaver*and conducted by Jordan Wright. In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, Carlos Chávez’s Symphony No. 2 (“Sinfonía India”) brings rhythmic energy and cultural richness to the stage. The night culminates with Mozart’s majestic Symphony No. 41 in C Major (“Jupiter”), a masterwork of elegance and exuberance.
