IRL Mario Kart Race & Costume Contest Have you ever wanted to play Mario Kart in real life? The Dean of Students Office, Office of Residence Life, and Esports has a fun opportunity for you! On Sunday, May 1 at 3 p.m. at the Brandt Student Center Parking Lot, join in on an IRL Mario Kart Race. Event includes heat races on Razor DXT Drift Trike (that are provided) competing for the fastest heat time while managing to escape obstacles. The event will also feature a Mario kart character costume contest open to the campus community. Get ready to throw some banana peels and toss those turtle shells (water balloons), just like the game. Cash prizes are offered to the winners. This will also be a fundraiser for the Wounded Warrior Project. Race participants are asked to donate $5 and spectators will be encouraged to give $1 donation at the door.
