Letter Writing to Incarcerated People Join The Center for Civic Engagement and The Office of Spiritual Life in a Letter Writing event on Wednesday, April 19th at 5 p.m. in Cooley 106! During this event, Criminal Justice Professor Staci Strobl will present us with special insights before we begin writing letters to people who are currently incarcerated in the state of Virginia in order to promote meaningful connections and positive mental health, boost morale, and improve physical and mental well-being. This is a step in the direction of fighting against conditions of isolation within prisons and between incarcerated people and our larger society. We will provide a free pizza dinner to participants!
