Mock Trial Scrimmage

December 9 @ 12:30 pm

Students are invited to observe the Shenandoah University Mock Trial Team as it presents a live scrimmage of a first-degree murder case on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 12:30 p.m. in Henkel Hall, Hester Auditorium. Attendees will watch the full proceeding, from opening statements to closing arguments, and serve as jurors to determine the verdict. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The judge will take the bench at 12:30 p.m. sharp, so early arrival is encouraged. This event highlights the Mock Trial Program offered in spring 2026 (TA/MTR I CJ 2-280), taught by SU graduate and practicing litigation attorney, Adjunct Associate Professor of Pre-Law Jeff Harding, Esq., JD. The course is ideal for students interested in law school, graduate study, law enforcement, or strengthening communication and analytical skills. For more information or to sign up to be a juror, contact Harding at jeff@jeffhardinglaw.com
