Have you ever wanted to write a novel? National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is an annual creative writing event that encourages you to start! 

Whether you plan to write a 50,000-word manuscript or want to reach some other writing goal, join other Shenandoah University writers in the Armstrong Conference Room in Smith Library each week in November from 6-9 p.m. to work on your draft in good company. The meeting dates are: Nov. 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28. 

Then, bring your lunch to celebrate with other Shenandoah writers on Friday, Dec. 1, from noon-2 p.m. Compare notes about your experiences, share success stories and challenges, and read from your work if you like.
