SU Division of Physical Therapy’s Baby Lab
February 4 @ 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm
Shenandoah University’s Division of Physical Therapy is inviting families to take part in a unique hands-on learning experience during its Baby Lab on Wednesday, Feb. 4, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Health Professions Building. As part of their coursework, second-year physical therapy students observe infants ages 0–12 months (not yet walking independently) to learn more about typical infant development, including gross, fine and oral motor skills. Parents and caregivers may choose how much or how little students interact with their child during the lab. Participation is free, and families are encouraged to share the opportunity with others who may be interested. For more information or to participate, contact Andrea Fergus at afergus@su.edu.
