TalkWALK Community Walk at SU

BikeWalk Winchester is coming to Shenandoah University on Monday, April 20, at 6 p.m., to explore campus. Participants of this TalkWALK community event will trek through the main campus, see several murals and explore the connections students and faculty have with Winchester’s downtown, parks and other destinations. Those interested should meet at the Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Bureau (next to Davis Hall).
Featured guests include:
- Tracy Fitzsimmons, Ph.D., president of Shenandoah University
- Justin Kerns, executive director Winchester-Frederick County Convention and Visitors Bureau
- Kim Herbstritt, Winchester city council member (Ward 3)
- Masha Balakersky, honors council president at Shenandoah University
- Christine O’Neill, assistant director for outdoor adventure and recreation
- Caroline Felix, owner of Shine Yoga
- Hopscotch management (local coffee shop)
TalkWALK Community Walks, hosted by BikeWalk Winchester, are held in a different Winchester neighborhood the third Monday of each month and feature a variety of invited guests, including longtime residents, city employees, elected officials, community leaders, small-business owners, local historians, naturalists, experts, and enthusiasts.
