The Book Of Romans (For Normal People)

September 12, 2023 @ 8:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Come learn more about Paul’s letter to the Romans in this four-part, FREE online academic bible study! Hosted by Dr. Tripp Fuller, of the Homebrewed Christianity podcast, and Dr. J.R. Daniel Kirk, New Testament scholar and author of a number of books on Paul’s epistles, you’re invited to come and venture into the depth and richness of Paul’s letter to the Romans. Participants will be introduced to the central themes, historical background, and transformative messages of this pivotal New Testament text. Having published two books on Romans, Kirk will bring clarity and fresh perspectives to one of the most foundational Christian writings. Course material is delivered over 5, asynchronous video lectures. We will gather on Tuesday evenings, in the BSC room 118, in September at 8:30 p.m. to briefly review the lecture material and watch/participate in community the livestream Q&A sessions moderated by Trip and Daniel (livestream starts at 9 p.m.). Free snacks will be provided! For instructions on how to register for this bible study and receive the study material, email Ian Urriola at iurriola@su.edu.
